Considered illegal – Vienna: Dealer sold drugs to 12-year-olds

On Thursday afternoon, a 29-year-old was arrested in Vienna-Landstrasse after several bags of drugs were found on him. Further investigation revealed that he had often sold drugs to a twelve-year-old who was considered missing.

The officers were initially called to Fruethstrasse because young people were said to be operating a knife on the street. When they arrived, the police encountered a 29-year-old and a twelve-year-old. Several bags of drugs, cash in typical denominations and three pocket knives were seized from the 29-year-old.

29-year-old arrested
Nothing was found on the 12-year-old, but he stated during questioning that he had bought and consumed drugs from the suspect several times in the past. The 29-year-old was temporarily arrested.

The twelve-year-old also reported
He himself makes the accusations. This is followed by accusations of selling narcotics and violating the weapons act. The twelve-year-old is also reported under the Narcotic Substances Act. It also turned out that he was reported missing. He was turned over to the agency that had jurisdiction over the custody.
