Three people were injured in a night-time fire in the centre of Seekirchen (Salzburg) on Sunday evening. An alarm was activated in a restaurant – 70 emergency services were on site.
According to police data, the cause was a grease fire in the kitchen of the restaurant on Sunday around 10 p.m. When the first emergency services arrived, there was already heavy smoke. Three injured people were taken to the hospital.
Numerous emergency services on site
70 emergency services, including Floriani from Wirthenstätten, Schöngumprechting and Mödlham and Eugendorf, came to help.
Police said grease in a pan may have started the fire. Because there were still people in the restaurant at the time of the fire, an evacuation took place.
