Horrible recreational accident late Monday afternoon in Tyrol’s Ötztal: A 51-year-old woman from the neighborhood fell on her e-bike and suffered serious injuries. She was lying unconscious on the ground – passers-by found the woman and immediately raised the alarm.
The terrible accident took place around 5:00 PM in the municipality of Umhausen. According to the police, the 51-year-old was riding her e-bike on the Erlangerweg when she fell for unknown reasons.
With rescue to the clinic
The local woman suffered serious injuries as a result of the fall. She also lost consciousness. “Uninvolved witnesses found the unconscious woman and immediately made an emergency call,” the director reported.
After initial treatment at the scene of the accident, the 51-year-old was taken by ambulance to the clinic in Innsbruck.
