Terrible traffic accident on Tuesday in Tyrol: A 62-year-old motorcyclist was thrown into the driveway of a house and seriously injured in a collision with a car on the B182 Brennerstraße in Schönberg in the Stubai Valley (Innsbruck-Land district).
The devastating accident happened around 08:45. According to the police, the driver (48) wanted to turn left towards his home when the motorcyclist riding behind started to overtake and a sideways collision occurred. The cyclist was then thrown a few meters into the entrance of the building.
Seriously injured man rescued in hospital
The 62-year-old resident suffered serious injuries. After initial treatment, he was taken by ambulance to the clinic in Innsbruck. Both vehicles sustained significant material damage.
