An 18-year-old driver hit a car and crashed head-on into another while overtaking on Tuesday. The injured driver was taken to the LKH Villach by the rescue helicopter RK1. In another accident, the low sun may have been partly the cause.
In Steindorf, an 18-year-old tried to overtake on Tuesday evening, first hit the oncoming Slovenian (41) with the wing mirror and finally collided head-on with another oncoming vehicle.

The driver (48) was injured and was taken to hospital by the rescue team. The 18-year-old had to be flown to LKH Villach by the RK1 rescue helicopter team. The Bodensdorf volunteer fire brigade was on duty with 15 people.
A similar case on the same day
On Tuesday evening, a traffic accident also occurred in Lind ob Velden: an 18-year-old driver may have overlooked the car of an 80-year-old when he drove onto Selpritscher Straße because of the low sun. A collision occurred. The injured 18-year-old refused to travel with the rescue service.
FF Velden and FF Lind ob Velden were deployed with 37 men.
