Israel presented a list. It is said that more than 100 UN employees work for Hamas

Date:

Israeli authorities have identified 108 UN employees who are believed to be active in the terrorist organization Hamas. The Israeli embassy in Berlin announced that a corresponding list had been submitted to the head of the Palestinian aid agency UNRWA.

This concerns only a small part of the employees. In total, the Palestinian aid organization has hundreds of employees. It confirmed that it had “received a letter from the Israeli government with allegations against employees working in the Gaza Strip.” “UNRWA takes these allegations very seriously.” The organization therefore responded to the letter and asked for information and cooperation. However, they do not have their own intelligence services to verify the claims.

“Mechanisms against infiltration”
In January, UNRWA was accused by Israel of employing several employees who were active in the terrorist organization Hamas or the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) (see video above). They were allegedly involved in the massacre on October 7. The Israeli government portrays the entire organization as infiltrated by Hamas. Several governments in Western countries, including Austria, have temporarily stopped paying the aid organization.

Israel does not believe in testing
An audit report concluded that “robust” mechanisms had since been put in place to uphold the organization’s principle of neutrality. The Israeli government was not impressed. It was now said that Hamas was also using UN facilities for military purposes. “UNRWA has become a terror aid organization.”
