A carelessly discarded sex doll prompted a large-scale police and fire department operation in Bavaria. A pedestrian noticed an apparently lifeless body in a pond in Pödeldorf, Upper Franconia, and alerted rescue services, the Bamberg police department announced.
Emergency services, police and fire brigade arrived with a large contingent, but were able to quickly give permission.
“Previous owner deeply saddened”?
“The exposed body, floating on its stomach in the water, was a discarded, lifelike-looking love doll,” the police statement said.
The background to the event remained unclear, but it stirred the imagination of the police press service. “It remains uncertain whether it (the doll, the note) previously broke the heart of the unknown previous owner and whether he therefore gave up his precious piece,” the official statement said.
In any case, the fire brigade provided ‘professional drainage’.
