A 13-year-old girl was sexually harassed by a Slovenian on Saturday while bathing in the Ressnigteich near Ferlach in the Carinthian district of Klagenfurt-Land. The 24-year-old then threatened to kill the girl and her friends.
Before the assault, the Slovenian submerged the girl’s head under water and then touched her in the chest. After the attack at 5:45 p.m., the 13-year-old immediately escaped from the water and ran to her friends, who confronted the 24-year-old. During the conversation, the Slovenian threatened to kill the three young people.
After being threatened, he fled
After calling the police, the 24-year-old fled and was found a short time later by a patrol from the Ferlach police station on the beach volleyball court in the Ressnigteich area. “He was accompanied to the police station and questioned about the crime through an interpreter. The Slovenian did not confess to the accusation,” the state police said. The 24-year-old is being reported.
