Unmanned aerial systems (UAS), better known as drones, have quickly found their way into numerous industries due to their wide range of potential applications and relative ease of use – whether it’s search and rescue missions after natural disasters, automated railway inspections after storms, or aerial data collection during large-scale construction projects.
In addition to agriculture, mining, construction and energy, the aircraft are of particular importance to one sector: defense.
