A quarrel between two men in an apartment in Innsbruck got completely out of hand on Sunday afternoon: during the quarrel, one of the Nigerians (36) pulled a knife and wanted to attack his opponent with it. After repelling this attack, the suspect fell and cut the other.
At around 3:30 PM, a heated argument ensued between the relatives (both 36 years old) in the apartment – which eventually got completely out of hand. Both became violent, suddenly one pulled a knife. “Then he tried to injure his opponent with it. The man was able to repel the attack,” said the Innsbruck police.
Attacker fell, opponent injured
As the argument continued, the alleged attacker fell to the ground and cut the other man’s right shin. “The injured had to be treated on an outpatient basis at the Innsbruck clinic,” the researchers continued.
Delivered to prison
The 36-year-old suspect, who had inflicted the cut on the other, was arrested in the apartment by the police and taken to Innsbruck prison by order of the Innsbruck prosecutor’s office. The exact course of events is currently still under investigation.
