Singer Jos. in the talk – “I am working on my inferiority complex”

Date:

He is a five-time winner of the Amadeus Award, received triple platinum twice for his hits ‘Cordula Grün’ and ‘Expresso & Tschianti’ and is currently touring Austria with the album ‘Reparatur’. Nevertheless, Johannes Sumpich, alias Josh. (38) believed for a long time that he was not good enough. The interview that he himself says he has never spoken about so openly.

“Crown”: Josh, you are currently touring Austria and Germany with your current album “Reparatur” and will also be giving a concert in Wiesen, Burgenland on Friday. Are you looking forward to it?
Jos.: Yes, very much so. I am a Burgenland fan because I am a great wine lover and especially love the Blaufränkisch variety. At home I have a very nice wine cabinet with a wonderful wine collection. However, in the last two years I have reduced my alcohol consumption considerably and now only drink a sip every now and then. This used to be impossible. I had a high three times a week. After all, if a concert was successful, I had a reason to celebrate and quench my thirst. However, I had this tendency before I started in the music business. When I went out, I was always one of those who locked up instead of going home first. But I didn’t only drink when it was funny, but also when I felt sad and lonely. In retrospect, I can admit that. Of course, I wasn’t aware of it at the time. In this country, many people who like to drink expensive drinks believe that they don’t drink.
