To be more precise, the two of them simply walked outside. The two women took advantage of the opportunity and crept out of the unlocked area.
Construction site and staff shortages
According to reports, several unfavorable factors played a role in the escape of the two prisoners. On the one hand, major renovation work is currently taking place in the Josefstadt penitentiary. The intensive search for the two fugitives, who were employed as housekeepers for minor offences and good behaviour, is in full swing.
