A devastating accident occurred in Innsbruck on Friday around 5:45 p.m. A local (52) turned his car from the central station and turned left onto Sterzinger Straße. However, his view of the protective path was blocked by a van, in which a mother and her five-year-old daughter were sitting.

“When mother and daughter were in the middle of the protective path – they had ‘green’ – there was a collision with the child,” explained the Tyrolean police. The child was injured and had to be taken by ambulance to the clinic in Innsbruck.
