Late on Friday evening, two Germans were riding a quad bike in St. Johann im Pongau. For reasons that are still unclear, the duo fell over a steep embankment.
Shortly after 11 p.m., a 36-year-old German was riding a quad bike in St. Johann im Pongau with a 54-year-old compatriot as a passenger. For unknown reasons, the duo left the road and fell about 20 meters down a steep embankment. While the passenger was able to jump off just in time, the quad bike driver fell over the embankment and was ultimately injured.
His 54-year-old companion was also injured when he jumped out of the vehicle. The two Germans were taken to the Schwarzach Hospital by the Red Cross.
