The Russian domestic intelligence service FSB reported that explosives and detonators for possible terrorist attacks were found in packages. It was said that the suspects were brought from Ukraine.
The packages from Germany and Italy were reportedly brought to Russia from a delivery channel for auto parts via a transport company. The FSB said several arrests had already been made, with the suspects being led from Ukraine. The information could not be verified.
Politicians went on a manhunt
Russian intelligence accused the deputy head of the presidential office in Kiev, Roman Maschowetz, of organizing terrorist attacks. He was therefore put on a wanted list. In Kiev, Maschowetz is considered a military intelligence expert. Since July 2014, he has organized military and technical assistance for the Ukrainian army. He was also one of the founders of the Special Operations Forces and has been the deputy head of the office of President Volodymyr Zelensky since 2020.
European intelligence services did not respond
According to its own statement, the FSB has informed the European secret services and asked for help in identifying the masterminds of terrorist acts and sabotage in Russia. However, these have not yet been answered.
Russian authorities repeatedly blame the war enemy for organizing the attacks. In fact, explosive attacks were repeatedly carried out against propagandists loyal to the Kremlin and against railway facilities (see video above). The latter are intended to disrupt the supply of Russian troops in Ukraine.
