Bizarre detail: Trump donated to Kamala Harris’ election campaign

Date:

Even before the election campaign between Biden’s successor Kamala Harris and Donald Trump has really started, the first bizarre details are already coming to light. American Democrat Jared Moskowitz revealed that Trump even donated $5,000 (about €4,600) to his rival in 2011.

At the time, Harris had re-run for California attorney general. According to a receipt posted by Moskowitz on the short-messaging platform X, Trump donated $5,000 to his current opponent’s campaign. Trump’s daughter Ivanka also donated $1,000 (about £800) to Harris’ campaign in 2013 and $2,000 (about £1,600) in 2014.

Harris Donated Trump Money
But when Trump first entered the White House in 2015, Harris reportedly directed the Trump donations to charity. But there is no evidence of that.

These donations aren’t unusual, though. Before Trump ran for the Republican public, he repeatedly donated to their political rivals. Particularly bizarre: Joe Biden also received a $1,000 donation from Trump in 2001 when he was running for senator.

Replacement for Biden
Joe Biden, 81, withdrew from the election campaign on Sunday due to poor polling, according to information from government sources.

Biden himself has proposed Harris as a possible replacement candidate, but the decision lies with the Democratic delegates. They will officially nominate their candidate for the November 5 election in mid-August. However, it is expected that a replacement for Biden will be appointed before then.
