A motorcyclist from the Mühviertel in Upper Austria had no chance of survival when he collided with a truck on the B132 near Bad Mühllacken. The 25-year-old slipped under the truck and was run over in the chest area by the vehicle.
The accident happened around 1.30 pm on Bad Mühllackener Bundesstraße. A 32-year-old truck driver had sent his truck on the B132 from Lacken in the direction of Bad Mühllacken. He took a short break and therefore parked parallel to the left lane in a parking lot there.
The 25-year-old motorcyclist drove his motorcycle on the B132 from Bad Mühllacken in the direction of Lacken. The 32-year-old wanted to leave the parking lot and send the truck back onto the road in the direction of Bad Mühllacken. He made sure it was safe to leave the parking lot. He maneuvered the truck into the lane.
Run over in the coffin by a truck
While he was already on the road with the tractor, the 25-year-old suddenly appeared on his motorcycle coming from Bad Mühllacken and collided sideways with the truck. The 25-year-old slipped under the truck and was run over by the truck in the chest area. The motorcycle was thrown from the right side of the road and came to a stop on the side of the road. The injured person was unable to speak at the scene. He was pulled from under the truck by emergency services and immediately resuscitated. CPR continued through the oncoming rescue. However, the 25-year-old died as a result of injuries at the scene of the accident. The truck driver was not injured in the accident.
