Because in a confusing bend on the B44 the driver for unknown reasons crossed into the oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an oncoming closed van. The passenger cell of the moped was completely destroyed in the crash. The driver was only slightly injured.
The FF Unter-Oberndorf recovered both vehicles and cleaned the accident scene. The B44 was only accessible on one side during the operation.
