Weekend remains warm – end of heat wave: cold front brings cooling

This coming weekend will bring midsummer temperatures of up to 36 degrees Celsius again. After that, a cold front will ensure that all of Austria will cool down considerably.

It will remain cloudless and mostly sunny Friday through the country. Individual thermal thunderstorms can only form in the west of the country. The wind blows from the east to southwest and is weak to moderate. The daily maximum temperatures are 25 and 32 degrees. It will be hottest in the east.
