Sunday at 11:30 the church day of Villach was festively opened and the beer tapping was celebrated with music and dance. Seven hours later a less festive incident took place. There was a fight between a 31-year-old from Villach and a 26-year-old from Albania.
“The man from Villach hit the Albanian in the face with a beer glass for unknown reasons,” the police reported. The 26-year-old was so seriously injured that he had to be taken to the Villach LKH by ambulance. As soon as the exact circumstances are clear, the 31-year-old from Villach will be reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
