As the war increasingly returns to the aggressive state, mobile nuclear bunkers are even being mass-produced there.
The situation in Russia is becoming increasingly dire. After much back and forth, the White House has allowed Ukraine to attack the largest country in the world by area with long-range weapons. The Russian Research Institute for Civil Protection and Emergencies has announced that series production of the mobile bunker “KUB-M” has now started to protect the population.
Production takes place in the Russian city of Dzerzhinsk in the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. It is emphasized that the bunker offers protection against various threats. These include both natural disasters and man-made events.
According to the developers, “KUB-M” provides 48 hours of protection against blast waves, radiation from a nuclear attack, conventional weapons, falling debris, hazardous chemicals and fires.
Easy to transport – even by train
The standard configuration therefore consists of two modules: a room for 54 people and a technology block. The capacities can be expanded with additional modules. As the developers proudly state, the bunker is easy to transport and can be connected to existing supply systems. If necessary, it can even be transported to a new location by road or train.
