Spectacular incident Wednesday evening in Itter in the Tyrolean district of Kitzbühel: an abandoned tractor rolled over a slope and fell directly onto the forecourt of a residential building. A huge blessing in disguise: no one was injured.
The dangerous incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. The tractor and trailer, which had been parked on a dirt road for hours earlier in the afternoon, suddenly became independent for unknown reasons. The team rolled over the adjacent slope.
The trailer came loose and the tractor continued to fall
As the trailer broke free on the slope, the abandoned tractor continued to slide downhill before crashing through a fence and landing about 100 metres away on the forecourt of a residential building.
No injuries, major material damage
Fortunately, there was no one in the driveway at the time. No one was injured. However, there was enormous material damage.
The fire brigades of Itter and Hopfgarten, rescue teams, emergency doctors and the police were present.
