From Thursday 22 August to Sunday 25 August, the traditional funfair will take place in Neustift am Walde. For many Viennese it is a must and after the Danube Island Festival the most visited event with free admission. Over the four days, more than 100,000 visitors are expected in the wine city.
After the cancellation of the Swift concerts due to Islamic attack plans and the death threats from an Afghan against Chancellor Karl Nehammer – he also wants to attend the Kirtag – the security problem is even more acute than usual.
