A serious accident occurred in Laterns (Vorarlberg) on Tuesday: a car carrying four people left the road for unknown reasons and crashed into a wall.
All four occupants, aged between 68 and 81, were injured early Tuesday evening when a car crashed into a wall in Laterns. The driver left the road for unknown reasons, after which the car crashed head-on and without braking into the wall of a bridge.

Two people were taken to hospital by helicopter, the other two were taken to hospital by ambulance, police said.
Cause still unclear
The accident occurred around 5:15 p.m. in the direction of Zwischenwasser. The Feldkirch public prosecutor ordered the vehicle to be impounded and called in a traffic expert to clarify the cause and what had happened.
