“The vice president of the Russian Security Council has warned the Russian authorities that if they continue their offensive against the Kursk region, there will be radically more coffins.”
Last night, Russian air defense shot down a dozen drones in Moscow one of the largest drone attacks since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, in February 2022, as announced on Wednesday by the capital’s mayor, Sergei Sobyánin.
As Sobianin wrote on Telegram, last night saw “one of the largest attempts to attack Moscow” with unmanned devices.
The first drone was destroyed at 3:02 a.m. local time near Moscow, and the other nine over the next hour and a half.
The mayor has assured that the situation is ‘under control’. According to preliminary data, the fragments of crashed drones are falling left no casualties or material damage.
On the other hand, the former Russian president and current vice president of the country’s Security Council, Dmitry Medvedevwarned Russian authorities on Wednesday that if they continue their offensive against the Kursk region “there will be many more senseless expenses, many more damaged military equipment and radically more coffins.” He similarly indicated that Russia will not negotiate with Ukraine until it is “completely defeated.”
