Because a 58-year-old had not prepared enough food, a physical altercation broke out in the Melk district (Lower Austria) in early April. The German and his ex-partner now had to answer for this in court.
He simply did not want to share his food that day. “There simply was not enough for both of us,” the man tries to justify himself. He should have cooked more, contradicted the ‘ex’ and helped himself to the sizzling pan, completely unimpressed. The woman had to pay dearly for her persistent hunger.
After insults and death threats, the woman was hit on the head. In return, she extended her nails and scratched the man’s neck.
The physical dispute on April 9 in the Melk district has now come to an end at the regional court in St. Pölten. Here, both had to answer for mutual bodily harm, the 59-year-old German also for violating the weapons law – he was in possession of a prohibited weapon.
Large amounts of alcohol consumed
“He’s the nicest person when he’s not drinking,” said the 60-year-old. Filled with three per mille, but not. The 59-year-old was given a three-month suspended sentence and the woman was acquitted – self-defense. The verdict is not final.
