Even assault rifles and a large contingent of police could not prevent a gruesome crime at the Neustift funfair. An 18-year-old girl and a friend from Lower Austria attended the crowded spectacle in the city’s posh district. However, the duo was brutally separated early in the evening.
Celebrity Heuriges bouncer struck
Not out of sheer recklessness, but by a violent security guard. At the entrance of a famous tavern, he only let the young Viennese woman through, while the Lower Austrian woman was brutally rejected, pushed down and even wiped lying on the ground. The shocked high school student ran away and about an hour later she met her school colleague again.
Report to the police and go to the hospital
The girl tearfully told her a horror story: she had left the wine bar in search of her “lost friend” – and was suddenly severely sexually assaulted. According to the 18-year-old, an unknown man with a southern appearance ambushed her, dragged her to a local alley and raped her.
The girls then immediately contacted the police and the ambulance crew, who carefully cared for the two. Reports were also filed. The Viennese woman was immediately taken to the AKH, where appropriate investigations into the abuse were carried out, the results of which should be available shortly.
According to the Vienna State Police, the exact interviews have not yet been completed, but investigations into both shocking incidents at the city festival are already in full swing.
