Funding freeze with consequences: home renovators now have to spend thousands of euros

Date:

After renovation funding was suddenly cut off, dozens of affected people in Salzburg are left with high bills for heat pumps, photovoltaic systems and the like. Although they have already been promised subsidies from the state of Salzburg, they have not yet seen any money.

Mr. B. (Full name known to the editors) is angry. His new photovoltaic system was already running and the new heat pump was about to be put into operation. The bill for both new ecological purchases was already on the table in the apartment in Tennengau. The pensioner had invested around 60,000 euros. The reason for his anger: the state of Salzburg had to take more than 20,000 euros from him. However, the termination of the renovation financing is now putting a damper on his plans.
