For the second day in a row, Moscow has launched drones and missiles against several Ukrainian regions, including the capital Kiev, in retaliation for the Ukrainian offensive.
Russia attacked this morning, for the second day in a rowseveral Ukrainian regions, and has caused this at least two dead in the city of Krivi Rig (middle) and another deceased in Zaporizhia (southeast), as reported by regional authorities.
Local media have reported explosions in Kiev and other regions of the country. In the case of the capital, some explosions were heard from the city center.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, which reports the attack in real time, Russia launched Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones and missiles of various types.
Russian forces launched 127 missiles and 109 drones on Monday, most of which were intercepted by Ukrainian air defenses, Kiev said. However, several missiles and drones reached areas that could not be shot down electricity and gas infrastructure in several regions of the country, forcing Ukrainian authorities to re-impose emergency power outages.
The attack also claimed the lives of at least four civilians in as many regions of Ukraine.
