After a failed robbery at an inn in Thannhausen, eastern Styria, a 16-year-old boy has now been arrested by police.
“I’ll give you nothing, go away!” With these words, landlord Markus Hafner turned away a man who wanted to attack him in his inn on Saturday afternoon. A little later, he succeeded in locking the unknown man out, armed with a hammer. Finally, he ran away in anger on his moped.
16-year-old refuses to testify
Now the handcuffs clicked around the prevented robber. The police were able to identify and arrest a 16-year-old from the Weiz district as the perpetrator. The teenager confesses, but refuses to make a statement. He is reported and transferred to the prison of Graz-Jakomini.
