Strange incident on the western motorway: On Wednesday, the police found a young man sitting cross-legged on the hard shoulder near Allhaming. When asked what he was doing there, the man from Salzburg told the officers: “My girlfriend left me.”
The couple had previously traveled from Salzburg to Vienna. During the journey, the young love probably degenerated into a quarrel – that’s why she stopped and left him standing, or rather sitting, on the hard shoulder in the middle of the western highway.
Fortunately, no accident that could have ended badly happened during this dangerous action. There were no injuries – except for two broken hearts…

After the police patrol picked up the Salzburger, who was sitting on the hard shoulder, and removed him from the highway, he was picked up by a friend and taken back to the city of Mozart.
The Upper Austrian police themselves treated the bizarre incident with humor and posted about it on social networks: “Love passes, friendship remains!”
