Serious traffic accident on Wednesday evening in Kirchberg an der Raab in Eastern Styria: a 27-year-old overturned his van and ended up in a ditch.
The 27-year-old from the South-East Styria region was driving his small truck in Kirchberg on the L 201 towards Feldbach at around 1 a.m. on Wednesday. For reasons that are still unclear, he left the road. The vehicle drove onto the embankment, collided with a traffic sign and overturned. The small truck only came to a stop on its roof in the ditch.
Injuries of undetermined nature
Witnesses gave the driver first aid and called the emergency services. After initial treatment, the Styrian was taken to the LKH Feldbach with injuries of unknown nature. The fire brigades of Kirchberg and Berndorf were deployed with 26 men. The road was closed for about two hours.
