A man from Upper Styria (41) had been taking pills for his mental illness for years. But one day he dumped her – with fatal consequences! The man, who lived in the same house as his parents, lit the fireplace in January. So badly that a fire broke out and the fire brigade arrived. The next day, the 41-year-old again put too much firewood in the fireplace, whereupon his father confronted him.
Nearly died after being stabbed in the stomach
That was the last straw. The 41-year-old pulled out a knife and stabbed the 66-year-old in the stomach. He nearly died! The officers who intervened also found themselves in a difficult situation, because upon arrival the attacker rushed at them with a knife.
Prosecutor Andreas Riedler requested an introduction because, according to the expert, the person concerned did not know what he was doing at the time of the crime. The hearing finally took place on Wednesday at the regional court in Leoben (chaired by Roman Weiß). After a few hours, it was clear to the jury that they would follow the prosecutor’s request: briefing, already legally binding!
