There are more serious accusations against Telegram boss Pawel Durow. This time, however, they do not concern the courier service, but rather the private life of the Russian resident.
The sensation was enormous: a few weeks ago, the 39-year-old entrepreneur announced on Telegram that he had more than 100 children in twelve countries. These were due to sperm donations. Doctors persuaded him to do so because “his biological material is so good”. The Russian claims to have never been married. He publicly admitted that he was not a family man and preferred to live alone.
He doesn’t seem to take the truth too seriously. His ex-wife Irina Bolgar contacted the business magazine Forbes and was able to prove that she had three children with Durov. The authenticity of the documents was confirmed by the Association of Swiss Court Interpreters and Translators. This also included a family photo showing the Telegram boss with his family at Christmas:
Repeated attacks with serious consequences
Life together, however, was anything but rosy. In the meantime, it has become known that the 39-year-old has physically abused one of his children several times, reports the business magazine Forbes. Bolgar also reported the entrepreneur for this in Switzerland – her current living center. In addition, Durow is no longer allowed to pay alimony to the mother of the child. Previously, she reportedly had 150,000 euros per month available for the children.
According to a representative of the Geneva court, Durow used violence against his son, born in 2017. Between 2021 and 2022, a total of five incidents are said to have taken place. Various injuries were the result, including a concussion. The child still suffers from sleep disorders to this day. Messages between the two parents and a medical certificate were presented as evidence. It confirmed that the child still suffered from the consequences of the brutal attacks: anxiety and sleep disorders made life difficult for him.
Children grow up without a father
The ex-wife claims that the children have not seen their father since September 2022. At that time, the child support payments were also stopped. In June of this year, she filed a child support claim, but no decision has been made yet. In addition, Bolgar is said to have filed for sole custody in April 2023. In May, the court revoked Durow’s parental rights, Forbes reports. However, he did not even fight this momentous decision.
