At least one unknown person is said to have followed an athlete and stolen his expensive Rolex from his locker while he was training. It was not the first time that valuable watches disappeared from the studio.

(name change) an expensive watch. The 35-year-old wants to remain anonymous due to the ongoing investigation into the case.

He tells the “Krone” that he entered the posh fitness studio shortly after 3 p.m. on August 9. He did not realize at the time that he was being followed directly by a man who may have seen him on the street in front of the studio. When Martin F. went to work out, he put his silver-gold Rolex Datejust (36 mm, two-tone, made in 1997) in the side pocket of his sports bag. He ignored a man who had no sports equipment in the locker room.

But it was probably the same man who struck during training and took the Rolex, which was worth 8,000 euros. In any case, video surveillance footage shows him leaving the gym just a few minutes after he entered. The Rolex is now a matter for the police, who do not want to comment for legal reasons and because of ongoing investigations.

At that time, magnetic cards were stolen and the lockers were opened.
