A sensational accident occurred in the municipality of Thüringerberg in Vorarlberg on Wednesday afternoon. A man had parked his low loader in front of his house, but the vehicle did not remain there for long.
At around 4:00 p.m., the owner parked his low-loader at his home address in Thüringerberg. Shortly afterwards, the unoccupied vehicle became independent for reasons that are still unclear, rolled over an embankment and crashed onto the Jagdbergstrasse below. This caused the company car to overturn and land on its roof several meters below the road.
Although the crash caused only minor damage to the highway, the vehicle suffered considerably worse. Leaking fluids had to be collected by the local fire department of Thüringerberg. The wreckage was recovered with the help of a crane and the highway was therefore closed to all traffic for about 25 minutes.
