A 26-year-old from Mühlviertel, who absolutely refused to stand still when a patrol tried to stop him, occupied a significant part of the local administration on Wednesday afternoon. Eventually, his phone number was traced and the suspect was called. The Upper Austrian was picked up at a bus stop. . .
At 1:25 p.m. on Wednesday, a police patrol in Engerwitzdorf became aware of a suspicious motorist and began following him. The driver, a 26-year-old from the Urfahr-Raum district, was initially able to avoid a stop attempt and drove onto the A7 in the direction of Linz. Several patrols took part in the subsequent house search, and during this time the suspect’s telephone number was obtained and contacted.
Found at the bus stop
The 26-year-old said he was at a bus stop in Linz, where police officers found him. When asked about it, the man stated that he had not been driving and denied everything. Police found various substances (presumably narcotics) in his wallet, packed in small plastic bags, which were confiscated.
Alcohol and drug tests refused
The man refused a breathalyzer test and a drug test. The 26-year-old, who does not have a valid driver’s license, was then taken to Gallneukirchen police station for immediate questioning, where he refused to make a statement. Follow ads.
