According to preliminary investigations by arson investigators, the 43-year-old prisoner probably set fire to his cell early Monday morning, causing his death. The Austrian was alone in the detention room.
Autopsy ordered
No technical problem has been identified yet. According to the state police, everything points to suicide. The Graz public prosecutor’s office has ordered an autopsy on the body.
