Current temperatures in eastern Austria have been above average so far, but that will change next week. The sun will really heat up the entire country over the weekend. Then rain showers and thunderstorms will provide the long-awaited cooling.

The Friday Starts quite cool and restless in the east in the morning. By noon, however, the sun increased and the temperature rose to 29 degrees. Only in the western mountains more rain showers and thunderstorms can occur.

Harmless cumulus clouds are underway Saturday widespread throughout Austria. The day starts with residual clouds, especially in the inner Alps and south of the main Alpine ridge. The wind blows weakly. The maximum daytime temperatures are between 26 and 30 degrees.

Also on Sunday the weather is still showing its late summer side. Only in the mountains are some cumulus clouds forming. The early temperatures are twelve to 20 degrees, the daily maximum temperatures are 26 to 31 degrees. It remains warmest in the east.

The next dense cloud field is already approaching Tuesday expected. The sun will then appear for a few hours, but from Vorarlberg to Upper Austria, showers and thunderstorms will predominate. The maximum values ​​​​are between 17 and 24 degrees.
