A 27-year-old man was attacked and injured by several people during a traffic dispute in Neubaugurtel, Vienna, on Sunday evening. The victim suffered a cut on the back of his head, probably caused by a knife. The victim was taken to hospital.
Five suspects were arrested in the attack, the police reported. Another young man (20) was slightly injured. He told the police that he was driving in the car with his 27-year-old uncle when they were attacked from two vehicles by the unknown people.
The suspected perpetrators also damaged the victims’ car.
Knife and cannabis found in car
During the house search, the police arrested five suspects between the ages of 23 and 27 in a vehicle. According to the police, the men are from Syria or are stateless.
During the search of the car, a knife was found in the glove compartment. A small amount of cannabis was also seized from one of the suspects.
