In Austria 5407 new corona infections have been registered in the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Saturday). A week ago, there were 4107 new cases. So there is still an increase in new infections. Seven more have been killed in the past 24 hours.
The number of hospital admissions has increased slightly. 527 people infected with corona are currently being cared for in hospitals, four more than the day before. A slight decrease in the number of intensive care patients has been reported, with two fewer patients currently being cared for.
