For the “Commentary of the Day” series, the community editors select what they consider to be the most interesting comments from “Krone” readers and present them in a special article. Today: Our user “KroneLeser2145355” about the current storm disaster in Austria and the courageous helpers of the fire brigade and disaster control.
Currently, storms are raging all over Austria, which probably only occur once every few years. Almost no city in Germany has been spared from the rain so far; some municipalities in Lower Austria have even been officially declared “disaster areas”. But so far, worse things have been prevented – thanks to volunteer fire brigades and disaster management. The courageous helpers deserve our thanks and recognition.
