This indictment from the Wiener Neustadt Public Prosecutor’s Office is shocking: The suspects are two asylum seekers from Afghanistan who visited the outdoor swimming pool “Aqua Splash” in Traiskirchen on June 18, 2024. “There they jointly decided to touch the genitals, breasts and intimate parts of the bodies of the children present there in order to satisfy their sexual urges,” the prosecutor said.
The way the 29 and 30-year-old duo allegedly carried out their plan is treacherous. Because they chose the hot tub as their crime scene. They allegedly ambushed bathing children in the river canal. Accordingly, they dove under and specifically reached for their victims under water and tried to feel their intimate parts – which they partially succeeded in doing.
If found guilty: six months to five years in prison

The children – five girls and one boy aged between nine and fourteen – gave accounts in their police interviews of the attacks, which were probably disturbing and sometimes painful for them.
