Kahr rejects merger – who pulls the strings at Styrian energy poker

Date:

District heating prices must come down! The KPÖ has been drumming this up for weeks – from the Graz city hall, but also from the dark red state parliament club towards the state government. Governor Drexler used the answer to an urgent question on Tuesday to launch a counteroffensive: He proposed not only a merger of the district heating divisions of Energie Steiermark and Energie Graz (the State Audit Office also suggests this in its report), but beyond that – up to and including a single merger of the companies.
