Couldn’t free himself
When the police officers arrived, they discovered that a young animal was stuck in the engine compartment of the car and could no longer free itself from the predicament. Members of the Wiener Neustadt fire department, with the permission of the car owner, unscrewed the floor covering of the engine compartment and removed additional screws from the front bumper.
Police then pulled the kitten from an opening in the front bumper and handed it over unharmed to the Wiener Neustadt animal shelter.
