The leader of the Hebrew Army, Daniel Hagari, claims that Hezbollah weapons were under the building, and one of the targets was the militia’s leader, Hassan Nasralla. Iran’s president has called the bombings a “war crime.”
More than 400 people have been killed in Lebanon since the Gaza war began, and yesterday Israel carried out its sixth attack on a residential area where Israel believes Hezbollah is hiding. There is no confirmation whether the leader of the armed group has been killed, but at least six people have been killed and 91 injured.
Israel has again attacked several parts of Lebanon, claiming the bombed areas were a “terrorist headquarters of Hezbollah” and that it was allegedly targeting the Shiite group’s leadership.
Hezbollah denies the presence of weapons at targeted locations in Beirut and remains silent about its leader. Hassan Nasralla. More than half a day after the attack, Hezbollah has still not publicly confirmed or denied whether its top leader was in the area or his current whereabouts.
Israel has indeed declared dead a commander of the missile unit of the Shiite party militia Hezbollah, Mohamed Ali Ismail. He is said to be one of six people killed so far in the attack on a residential building that has been demolished.
The Lebanese Health Ministry also confirmed 91 injuries, although it warned the toll would rise as the rescue operation continued despite the widespread destruction caused by Israeli missile impacts.
In fact, the Lebanese authorities are preparing the evacuation from the hospital in the southern suburbs after the intense wave of Israeli attacks.
“War Crime”
Iran’s President Masud Pezeshkian has called the Israeli bombing of Beirut a “war crime” and “state terrorism.”
“The crimes of the Zionist regime (Israel) against the Palestinian and Lebanese people are a sign of the failure of the international community to state terrorism“Pezeshkian said in a statement published late Friday, according to the state agency IRNA.
The Iranian president denounced that these Israeli bombings show that “this regime is the greatest threat to regional and international peace and security“, and called on all countries in the world, especially Islamic countries, to “strongly condemn this crime”.
Pezeshkian has reaffirmed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s support for the informal anti-Israel alliance.Resistance axis‘, led by Tehran and consisting of, among others, Hezbollah, the Palestinian Hamas and the Houthis of Yemen.
