Was it an accident or even a crime? Forensic research should provide clarity. Emergency services found a body in Loferbach on Friday afternoon. It could be the lifeless body of a Tyrolean woman who has been missing for two weeks.
An elderly woman from Waidring has been missing since September 16. The first searches on Tyrolean soil were initially unsuccessful. But there is one thing: clothes have been found. The search was expanded to Pinzgau on Friday. Water rescue teams from Salzburg then searched the Loferbach and Saalach. Diving robots and sonar were also used. They received support from the fire brigade and the police.
Around 4 p.m., the police dog picked up a scent shortly after the state line. Water rescuers then quickly found the lifeless body and brought it to shore. An investigation is now underway into the circumstances of his death.
