The “Long Night of the Museums” as a cultural marathon

Attention night owls, on October 5, the “ORF Long Night of Museums” once again invites everyone interested in culture and hungry for knowledge for a tour of the city. More than 650 museums throughout Austria open their doors. You can read here which museums are involved.

In Vienna alone there are more than 200 museums that have opened their doors, including classics such as the Natural History Museum. But also more special houses such as ‘Museums in Focus’, which address the change in heating culture in daily life in a big city. Bonus: for every child who visits at least three museums, there is a small gift in the “Treffpunkt Museum”.

Bizarre and exciting
Numerous cultural institutions and museums in the federal states are also participating in the campaign, such as the “Nonseum” in Herrnbaumgarten in Lower Austria, the Krampus Museum in Kitzbühel and the Klagenfurt Observatory.
