Terrible accident at Tulln train station in Lower Austria: an 18-year-old climbed onto a parked wagon and became stuck in the overhead wire circuit. The victim is currently fighting for his life.

Several fatal accidents at train stations
According to doctors, fatal accidents at railway facilities have increased in recent years. It was only at the end of March that a 16-year-old boarded a parked train on the ÖBB site in Vienna-Penzing. The boy received an electric shock and later died in hospital from his serious injuries.
A similar case occurred in early July in Schwechat, Lower Austria: a 16-year-old boy climbed onto a parked train carriage, received an electric shock, was then thrown to the ground and died at the scene of the accident.
