Terrible accident Monday morning on the B3 in Mauthausen (Upper Austria). At 10:30 a.m. emergency services were called to a serious accident involving three vehicles. All help came too late for the Hungarian driver (24) of a van.
For unknown reasons, a car, a taxi and a truck collided. The emergency services were deployed with a large contingent consisting of two fire brigades, several ambulances, an ambulance and the police. Despite the swift arrival, the Hungarian driver (24) of the van died at the accident site. The driver of the truck (52) and the passenger of the taxi (62) were injured and were taken to hospitals.
The road was closed for more than three hours
Hummer had to be requested for the clean-up work. They took care of the road transport of the truck and a sweeper was also used to remove the dirt from the road as quickly as possible. The B3 was closed until the early afternoon.
